Purpose
Each child that walks through our doors is unique. One may come from a loving, single-parent family. One may speak little English. One may not have a home. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County, it is our job and our mission to direct each of these youth toward a positive role in society. We fulfill this mission one child at a time.
We have the power to impact the life of each and every young person we serve; therefore, we want to entice young people to come to our Club, take part in our exciting programs and be inspired to come back. In order to do so, the Boys & Girls Clubs need the generosity of local foundations, corporations and individuals.
2009 Support the Children Campaign
The Support the Children Campaign is an exciting fundraising initiative - one that will create a set time of year for annual giving to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County, combining the power of broad-scale marketing with personal, one-on-one solicitations by volunteers. We are aggressively pursuing our goal to create a better place for the kids to grow.
